Offered is a rare opportunity to own an original USA Production 1973 Ferrari Daytona 365 GTB/4 Berlinetta. This was Maranello’s answer to Lamborghini’s Miura and Maserati’s Ghibli featuring a 4.4 liter, 4-cam, 352 basic hp, 173 mph screamer.This particular car, Serial Number 16889, was delivered new at the factory to Dr. David F. Wilhem of Huntington Beach, CA/USA. Listed in FOCUSA Rosters 1976-1991, this car was owned by Dr. Wilhem until 2001. In 2002 this magnificent Ferrari was offered for purchase by Francorchamps of America, Costa Mesa, CA/USA and purchased by Ex-General Motors Designer/Bunky Knudson. At that time he had the dashboard recovered as original and had the car repainted by world renown coach builder Richard Straman. Straman’s fame was achieved in the early 1970’s where as a young engineer and coach builder was commissioned to convert a GTB/4 into a Spyder. Ferrari to this day is unconvinced there is a substantial market for a ragtop grand tourer. Straman to this day fills that niche in providing the transformation. The third owner of this 365 GTB/4 was Jonathan Eismann of Miami Beach, FL/USA. He took this car to many prestigious events and won numerous awards such as:

 April, 2003, at the FCA Annual Meet, Sebring, FL/USA. October, 2003, at the Ferrari French Quarter Classic, New Orleans, LA. January, 2004, at Cavallino Classic, Palm Beach, FL, Gold Class Award. August, 2004, at Concorso Italiano, Seaside, CA/USA. January, 2005, at the Cavallino Classic, Palm Beach, FL, Platinum Class Award and Ferrari Spirit Cup – Ferrari best representing the spirit of track and concours. January, 2006 at Cavallino Class XV, Palm Beach, FL/USA Platinum Class Award January, 2007 at Cavallino Classic XVI, Palm Beach, FL/USA Platinum Class Award.This car presently has all books, records and warranty cards in the original wrappers in the factory pouch.
